1. How long does a new finish last?
Surfaces resurfaced by Tub Pros, LLC are extremely durable. With proper care and maintenance, a restored surface can still look great after 10 to 15 years.
2. Does the finish look painted on?
Definitely not! At least not when it is professionally applied. Most people can't tell the difference between a new surface and a resurfaced one.
3. How long does the process take?
A standard-sized bathtub usually takes 6-7 hours and is ready to use 24 hours after service.
4. How much does restoration cost?
Prices vary from surface to surface, but it almost always cost less than replacing the item-in some cases, 75% less! Residential bathtubs can be resurfaced for $300-$550 versus $2,000-$3,000.
5. Is white the only color available?
No. Tub Pros, LLC can match an existing color or create a custom color of your choice for a whole new look.
6. What if my fixture is damaged?
Tub Pros, LLC can do spot repairs on small chips and cracks. With careful color matching, the repair is practically invisible. During the complete restoration of a fixture, chips and cracks are repaired in the preparation stage of the process.
7. Is there a warranty on Tub Pros, LLC restorations?
Yes. Tub Pros, LLC offers a 3 year warranty against peeling or other adhesion failure.
8. When I have a fixture resurfaced does it require special care or cleaning materials?
The new finish should be cleaned with a non-abrasive cleaner just as you would with a new fixture. Abrasives are capable of damaging even the most durable surfaces.
9. What should I do to prepare the fixture for the restoration process?
Repair or replace any plumbing problems like leaky faucets, broken handles and pipes. Also remove any cosmetics from the area being resurfaced.
10. Will refinishing cause any damage or harm to my home or pets?
Definitely not! Any odors from chemicals we use are exhausted by window or fan and gone wtihin a few hours.
